ABOUT ZIBIN

Zibin Zhou is a harpist based between Cincinnati, Ohio and New York. She currently serves as Principal Harp with The Orchestra Now (TŌN) at Bard College and is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), where she studies with Dr. Gillian Benet Sella.

As an orchestral harpist, Zibin has performed with ensembles including The Orchestra Now, Paducah Symphony Orchestra, Queen City Opera, Seven Hills Symphony, and the CCM Philharmonia. Through her work with TŌN, she performs regularly in major New York venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Symphony Space.

Zibin is passionate about chamber music and enjoys collaborative projects that highlight the harp in different ensemble settings.


Zibin is currently developing a private harp studio in Cincinnati and welcomes both in-person and online students. She is also active as a freelance harpist for chamber collaborations and special events.


Zhou holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Minzu University of China.
